A large Victorian mug depicting two scenes framed within a gold outline.
One scene is rural with a group, busy washing clothes in a pool of water which is supplied by the waterfall in the background. The accompanying animals are enjoying refreshing themselves!
The other is coastal with a group of people and horses on a pier head with a sailboat moored alongside. Seems to be various loading/unloading of goods. One person is lying down alongside a dog, both looking seawards? The background colour of the mug is a lovely shade of sea-green and the inside of the rim is a decorative band of gold and white.
