NIELLO SILVER NAPKIN RING

This Iraqi "Marsh" Niello, silver napkin ring is skillfully decorated with a scene that circles around the band of the ring. Several sailing boats, two with visible crew aboard, create a busy picture. A large palm tree dominates over the smaller trees, which are spread along the panoramic picture, further behind on the horizon.  There is an inscription that translates in English to, 'awareness'!
 
Will transform any table setting and make an interesting talking point!
